These fun cards/hats could be used as Birthday cards ……just add a stick on Birthday text to the front OR they could be used as Invitations to a Birthday Party OR they could be simply printed and made up as fun hats for parties. Something that is definitely worth keeping as a Keepsake. Little girls might like the tiaras or the kitty/animal designs and the boys might like the police or fire designs or even the pirate designs. Theme them to your parties…ie Little Masterchef Party or Animals Party, Little Princess Party etcOf course they could also be used for adults!! Nurse, police……use your imagination and have fun with these. Sorry this post is belated but we've been away which meant I was on the lap top.

The internet connection wasn't anything like what we have at home and trying to

post anything is a major exercise!!!

So Christmas Greetings......although belated..........and I hope you got to spend it with

loved ones. Was Santa kind to you?

We had a wonderful day and saw all but one of the kids and grandkids.....so although

we are totally lagged out now, it was so totally worth the effort to go down and run

around to make sure we got to spend a little time with everyone!!

If you have time off, relax and enjoy it. If your travelling then 'stay safe'.

If you have to work.......be assured that its appreciated. Someone has to keep things

going and without those people who selflessly do the jobs that have to be done (whether

you begrudge it or not), life wouldn't go on. Emergency service personell, police, hospital

staff and the Dr's, even the retail people......you are appreciated for your efforts.

Sorry this greeting is late......but its not posted with any less love and meaning.

When I as a designer design things I guess I have a 'vision' of what it will turn out like and then the cardmakers come along and totally exceed all expectations. lol Some use the desgins in a totally different way or add those little extra elements that just make the final result look stunning!!!!

Both of these pieces of art were inspired by the wonderful artist Susan Rios.

Her work has been admired by me for years, and when some of her work turned up on a site illegally sharing her work (along with other artists work), I thought maybe I could do something along the lines of some of her work.

They are a long long way off being anywhere near the quality but if people are happy to use them then that will make me happy.

These 2 cards were made up by Joyce Watson and I think she's done a wonderful job with them.

Thank you Joyce, they look gorgeous!!

Those who know my work know that I do not, have not, and ever will, sell my tubes, nor do I allow a profit to be made from any of the items on my website. However, I have for sale in the Original Art section of the Designer Rescources on CUP, both of these 'tubes'.

Something different for a wedding

There was a request for a wedding card using pink and blue, the back of a bride and groom and some champers. This is the design I came up with!!

The colours in the photo of the card don't quite reflect the colours in the sheet but that could be due to a lot of factors so please click on the card and see the original design.

She has resized them down to card size as they come in full scrapbook size of 3600x3600.

The bottom card she has only used part of the page to create the card.

Then she's embellished with flowers to finish off the design.

Those of you who know me know that I hate being pressured into to doing things, I like things to be fair for everyone and not bullied into things.

Well for weeks now I've not been able to see the followers pics.

Have been to the Blogger help pages and to everyone who has been having problems

we've been told.............get Chrome.

Well sorry I wont get it just because Google can't figure out how to make things work in ALL Browsers. I've had post removed because I put it to them that its bullying people into supporting a Google product. Blogger is Google.

Today I again tried to get into a forum that I used to be able to get into.

Couldn't figure out why ......the forum owner was as puzzled as I am.

So this morning hubby tried Chrome...........guess what..........he could sign into the forum!!!

He could see the followers on my Blog!!!!!!

So I have very RELUCTANTLY now got Chrome and guess what.......things work on my computer too!!

This is so very wrong making people get things because a site will only work on certain browsers. I know AOL have had this for years and we wouldn't touch them with a 40ft barge pole!!! Never!!!

So to you Google..........you really are disgusting.......pick your act up so things work with ALL browsers. I rest my case!!!!!

Sorry for the vent people.........but just makes me mad no matter what it is when the big grubs force people to give in to their preferences/products. Whatever happened to FREEDOM to choose for ourselves what we want???!!!!

Well its nearly a week since the birth of v3 of the CraftsUPrint website!!
New look, new features......and lots lots more!!

Ok......like any new parents Rob and Neil have had a few things to sort out
but considering the monstrosity of a job to transfer the 180 thousand design sheets,
the thousands of cards, plus add the new Categories, etc etc the sites done pretty well.

Its been fun exploring all the new things.....and finding where old things are now....
and I for one LOVE IT!!

I really hope people will just have a little patience till all the bugs are ironed out and
take the time to discover everything.

Theres the new Scrapbooking section....Knitting (will be up soon as somone uploads something lol) and dont forget the Cutting File section!! Those of you who have the cutting machines will love this .....right up there on the menu bar to be easily found!!
And the new Designer Rescource section......wow some of the things in there are amazing!!

Update

Well the day we took our granddaughter back down to Brisbane, our little grandson was re admitted back to hospital with high temp/infection. He'd been home for a couple of days and seemed to be going well.

We got home and let son know we'd arrived home OK and got a text back telling us they'd taken Zac back to hospital. From that point life just became one major stress.

We have a big pen where we keep our kittys locked up at night and when we aren't home. They aren't straying and we have foxes around so at least we know they are away from harm and safe. I went out to check them and feed them and found one of our gorgeous kittys not moving and in fact he didn't move when I called him and I thought at that point he was dead. When I went in he did get up but I knew he wasn't right. He didn't want dinner so I gave him his pill that he has morning and night and by Sunday he seemed better.

Monday: Horry wasn't well again and I knew that taking him to the vets was not going to be a good outcome. Also we had another kitty that we have known he was going downhill fast as he was finding it harder to walk and had begun having seizures. So with a very heavy heart we took them to the vet and they were both put to sleep. Boots was 12 yrs old and I'd kind of accepted that this was what had to be done. Horry on the other hand was only 8 yrs old. But this was his 2nd bout of FLUTD in 5 months so things were only going to keep happening as he got older. This time the struvite crystals had blocked his bladder totally and his kidneys had shut down so I had to do what was the kindest thing for him. My heart is broken.....I so miss my boys. Was very hard to do but I know over the Rainbow Bridge they'll never be in pain again now.

Then we get a call to say Zac is going back into surgery that afternoon to clean out the infection.
We are hoping now that he will recover fully but its a slow process. He'll be in hospital for a while yet. The antibiotics need to be done through an IV so untill the course is done, and I guess they wait to see how he goes when they are finished.

So not had a chance to update new cards on here.......but.....the loss of my babies has inspired me to make some Pet Loss cards......you'll find them on my pages HERE.
Plus by clicking to look you'll earn me a whole 2p (UK) so that would be appreciated.
That money goes into purchasing more things to help me keep designing.

Hopefully next week will be more 'normal' and I'll get the cards up in here.

I will put some previews of cards made from my designs.....but it wont be till next week.

Grandson has been in hospital, so we went down to see him on Sunday and came back with our granddaughter for a week.
So she gets my undivided attention this week lol.

We didn't think we would get down because of the flooding and highway closures but finally a 'dry spell' and we took the opportunity and took off early Sunday morning.

Been a worrying time with our grandson....4yr old and his appendix burst so he's been a very sick little boy. I'm happy to say though now he is at home with Dad and Jess.
At least he'll be quiet and rest while his sister is up here and can go on recovering quietly.

Shame he couldn't come up but we go the granddaughter so better than not seeing either.
She loves helping her Nanny make up cards, so we are having fun!!
